PSA- A Word About Comments
I can't believe I even have to post something so NO-BRAINER and consisting of such COMMON SENSE but recent events give me no choice.
Since some people think they can just come hijack my comments and post whatever the fuck they want, I felt the need to publish a little notice about what is and isn't acceptable on this here website.
I welcome comments that are insightful, funny, thought-provoking, and bring forth a new perspective.
What I do NOT welcome are comments that:
*Admonish or TALK DOWN to me for MY point of view, however slanted it may be
*Tell me or other readers how we should be living our lives (including giving unwelcome, unsolicited advice)
*Have an insulting, condescending, or scornful tone
*Are unreasonably argumentative toward other commenter's
*Tell me WHAT or HOW I should write
I don't expect everyone to like or agree with some of the things I write, no matter how similar our lifestyles may be. You might LOVE some of what I write and you might hate some of the other things I write. No big deal. But let's get something straight. This is MY personal blog, not a goddamn message board. If something you read here disturbs or upsets you, your only right is to click the red fucking X to your upper right and get the fuck out. PERIOD.
Whether you're a breeder, CF, or in between, you do not have a right to talk shit to me OR about me in my comments. You don't have the right to bitch out other people in my comments. You also don't have the right to go off on your own little rant about my viewpoints and opinions. Take your pissy attitude and go fuck off.
This being MY blog, I reserve the right to abstain from publishing any comment that doesn't appeal to my sensibilities. And I use that right quite liberally.
Lemme just tell you how I operate when I go about perusing other people's blogs.
If I see something on someone else's blog that I don't like or agree with, you know what I do? I click the X and see myself the hell out. I don't post a long diatribe of bullshit detailing why I don't agree and what they should write in the future so that I do agree. IT'S THEIR BLOG. They can post what they want, I don't have to like it. I'm respectful enough to allow them to have their view without "taking them to task" for it.
And that's the moral of the story. Treat my blog the way I would treat yours and we won't have any problems K? If that's too difficult of an undertaking for you, I guess you should go hijack someone else's blog with your righteous indignation cause this isn't the place for you.
