I just read online (http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090212/ap_on_re_us/octuplets) that the California taxpayers "may have to cover octuplet mom's costs."

I am just so unspeakably angry with this woman. When I heard she lived with her parents, I had a horrible feeling this woman had no money, no medical insurance, no partner and no prospects. Now it seems that I was right. She's unemployed and receives disability payments for three of her six older children. Now, in this horrible economy, with no income, she inexplicably chose to bring EIGHT more premature children into the world. WTF???????? How is it possible that she can give her children, especially the special needs children, the love and attention and help they need and deserve?

Her spokesman urges everyone to "consider her situation" and realize that "she has been under a tremendous amount of pressure that no one could be prepared for."

Now if SHE HERSELF didn't consider her "situation," why the hell should everyone else??? She's already up to her eyeballs in student loans, and she "will use student loans to support her children." Am I missing something???? IT'S MY UNDERSTANDING THAT THAT MONEY CAN BE USED FOR EDUCATION, NOT TO PAY YOUR BILLS OR BUY GROCERIES.

This woman is incredibly irresponsible and selfish to believe that the public should donate money to her when so many families are struggling to get by. How can anyone defend this woman's actions. I have never been more appalled in my life.

Whatever's going on with this utterly insane maniac, we may never know (though we may well suspect based on knowing other obsessive/compulsive/addictive sociopaths).

My hackles were raised when I learned via LA Times that this shitwit was 33, her mother filed for bankruptcy in March of 2008 (close to a million dollars), and her dad is going back to Iraq "to make money to support the babies." There is no partner in the picture. Just this sick sick unemployed unable to work woman and her mom in a tiny house. With 14 kids.

In my view, if a woman is single and has no income, but has kids, then having another child is intentional child abuse. I am so sick of the coddling of the clown-car-vagina set.

This story reminds me of the novel Geek Love, where pregnant women deliberately messed up their fetuses to create carnival attractions.

This shitwit's entire life is an engineered geek show. The only bright light in all of it has been that the majority of people commenting on the various news stories have been as appalled as I, and for the same reasons.

CF chick, that is an awesome point. Why do people with baby rabies always have to have THEIR OWN kids? If they love babies and children so damned much, why not volunteer with organizations that work with kids? But no...most of the time you never see that.

There's something else to baby rabies. It has less to do with children than an obsession with the SELF. They want to have children that have THEIR DNA or something, children they can implant THEIR belief system in totally. I think they think it's like being immortal in some way. It's total self-centeredness and makes no sense. Especially when you see people with baby rabies ruining their relationships with their SO over it.

The governing bodies for IVF and OBGYN are demanding to know who either did the IVF or gave her fertility drugs to take on her own, so they can take their licence(s) away. For all my moral problems with IVF, at least this is not a normal occurence.

Pisses me off the the taxpayers of California are not only the ones who paid for this baby-rabid cunt to have IVF or whatever, but will be supporting these babies as well. They are already paying for the six kids this bitch already shat out.

And with the poor economy, which was starting more than nine months ago, WHY have more kids that she can't afford, and cram them all into her parents' TWO BEDROOM HOME?

1) Where the fuck did she get the money for all these invitro's when she DOESN'T work.
2) WHYYYYYY did someone GIVE HER more invitro and implant so many eggs when she had SIX KIDS???
3) Why her parents never put a stop to this and place her in psychatric evaluations and take control of her children.

This is why certain people should have their reproductive rights taken away. I may hate what the Duggars do - but they at least support their own family and don't enlist the use of medical science to make them have more and more and more children.

What we need is stricter laws on things like invitro. You know in some European countries (like France) they will not implant more then 2-3 eggs because it is not safe or normal for a human body to carry as many children as a dog would carry puppies.

I also will tell you that like you I donate to lots of animal charities, but I also donate to child charities too, ones that I research and find do lots of good. I like to donate directly to orphanages overseas that I'm familiar with. I'm just all for helping someone - furry or not.
