We went to a horror flick a few months back and the theater was FILLED with underage kids. They chatted with one another, screamed during most of the movie so loudly that you couldn&#39;t hear the dialogue and never ONCE bothered to turn their cell phones off. When we exited, I felt like I&#39;d paid $10 for nothing and didn&#39;t see a single one of them WITH A PARENT.<br /><br />I was pissed off. I called the theater, noting that it was past curfew and that most of them had come in WITHOUT a parent.<br /><br />Not two months later, the mayor of that town went to this same theater, got bothered during HIS movie, and then saw all the underage kiddies outside past 10pm. He reinstated enforcement of the curfew. Cops now patrol that theater.<br /><br />Want to be a parent? Then BE a parent! And when they really wanted to see a movie in the theater that was not obviously kid-ok, they got a baby-sitter, no matter how much I promised to behave and cried and whined to go with them. You know why?
